  • Repurposed historic Eastport Elementary School, the first African-American school in the Five Points community, which was listed in Knox Heritage’s Fragile 15 historic properties
  • Awarded 2012 Green Project Award from East Tennessee Chapter of USGBC; top sustainability award from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; 2012 “Orchid Award” from Keep Knoxville Beautiful; and 2012 Knox Heritage Preservation Award for the repurpose of historic school
